Our purpose is to inspire! As a volunteer at The Henry Ford, you can help us inspire over one million guests annually. Join us in teaching others to learn from tradition and help shape a better future.Volunteering provides many opportunities for self-development while contributing to our community.
In addition to the various everyday happenings at The Henry Ford, many volunteer opportunities are available during special event weekends. For those who enjoy the outdoors, we have opportunities at the carousel, taking surveys, greeting visitors and as camp assistants. If you prefer working indoors, you can help with office activities, mailings, preparing crafts and much more.
We’ll teach you everything you need to know! Whether you’ve been a longtime member or are new to the area, we will acquaint you with our history and operations through the same training our paid staff receive.
