Important Update

As of 3:20pm, the Community Foundation Challenge--Arts and Culture has exceeded the fundraising goal and the $1 Million match fund has been claimed. This is a testament to all of your hard work and the strong support of your donors!

Please inform your donors through e-blasts, social networks, or other means that the match has been reached.

In recognition of the patience and understanding of those who have shown their commitment to Arts and Culture through this Challenge, the Community Foundation is adding an additional $250,000 of match funds, which will be made available on the site very soon. Stay tuned for another e-blast later today in this regard.

This will be an opportunity for you to inform donors who were unsuccessful in contributing today that they will have another chance to help your organization thanks to these additional funds.

This has been a very frustrating day for everyone as we've encountered multiple glitches with this giving platform. One example of a commonly-noted error is that in some cases credit card charges were made multiple times. This is now being addressed by eliminating duplicate charges (this has been taken into account when calculating funds raised).

We deeply appreciate the way that you have communicated with us and to donors throughout the day sharing error messages and experiences. Please know that the entire Community Foundation staff have been working with donors non-stop throughout the day on your behalf.

It is important to remember that despite all of these trials, an enormous amount of support has been raised for our sector and your organizations. You will receive more information in the coming days and we will continue to share updates with you as they become available.
