Visit Greenfield Village with Your Model T
Join us with your Model T for an exciting history-filled day at Greenfield Village. A special ticket package will provide Model T owners two admissions to Greenfield Village, access to drive and park your Model T in Greenfield Village, $20 in Fun Money, a commemorative gift and special photo opportunity. Open to Model Ts of any year (individuals or clubs up to 75 cars.)

Only 2 adults per car, please. Maximum capacity is 75 cars per day.

A service fee of $2.50 will be applied to all non-group Call Center sales.


what you need to know

This package includes Greenfield Village® tickets only; tickets are required for all members of your party. If you wish to purchase additional tickets or upgrade to a combination ticket or to add IMAX® or Ford Rouge Factory Tour tickets, please contact The Henry Ford Call Center at 313.982.6001. You will be entering Greenfield Village via the Eagle Lane Gate off Village Road, near the Southfield/M-39 service drive; please see map. You must present tickets at the security point. You will follow Eagle Lane to the Eagle Tavern parking lot.


what to bring, what to wear

Greenfield Village is spread over dozens of acres-- comfortable clothing and comfortable shoes are a must. Dressing for the weather is a must. Bring umbrellas/rain gear and prepare for a wide range of temperatures.

Wheelchairs are available for a small fee at the Village entrance. Electric scooters are also available for a fee, but only in limited supply. Wheelchairs and scooters are rented on a first come, first served basis-- plan to arrive early if you need to rent them. You are welcome to bring your own wheelchair or scooter, however, upright scooters (Segways) are not allowed on premises.

Children's wagons are also available to rent for a fee at the Village entrance. You are welcome to bring your own stroller or wagon, however, recreational scooters, bicycles or in-line / in-sole skates are not allowed inside the Village gates.

Bring a camera; photography is allowed in all areas of the Village.

Visit with your Model T is available only through The Henry Ford Call Center (open 7 days a week, 9am - 5pm) 313-982-6001. Tickets can be mailed when reservations are made 2 weeks or more in advance. Tickets purchased less than 2 weeks out will be held at Check in.


check-in

Check-in will be at 10am in the Eagle Tavern parking lot. A member of the Greenfield Village staff will meet you there at 10am. Your modern tow vehicle or other modern vehicles will be able to park in the Eagle Tavern parking lot, adjacent to the historic area. At check-in you will receive your welcome package, which will include the Greenfield Village daily program to guide your visit, $20 in FunMoney and a memento of your visit.

To drive your vehicle in Greenfield Village, we will need you to sign a waiver form at this time.

The Greenfield Village staff member will guide you and your Model T into the Henry Ford’s Model T District for photographs with your car, and then lead you on a driving tour of Greenfield Village. Please note that pedestrians and horsedrawn vehicles receive right of way. The Greenfield Village speed limit is 15 mph.

Following your driving tour, your car will be parked in a secure area near the Edison Illuminating Building and you may spend the rest of the day visiting Greenfield Village. Please note that this is an open-air parking area; we cannot provide covered parking. Greenfield Village is open until 5pm. The Edison Illuminating parking area is adjacent to Eagle Tavern parking lot and Eagle Lane which will lead you back to Village Road and your route home when you are ready to leave for the day.

The Henry Ford is located in Dearborn, Michigan on the corner of Village Road and Oakwood Boulevard, just west of the Southfield Freeway (M-39) and south of Michigan Avenue (US-12).

From the East or West via I-94:
Take I-94 to the Oakwood Blvd exit; go north on Oakwood. The Henry Ford is 2.5 miles from the exit on the corner of Village Rd and Oakwood Blvd.
From the South via I-75:
Exit to northbound Southfield Freeway (M-39), drive 4.1 miles to Oakwood Boulevard (Exit 4). Left on Oakwood and drive 1.8 miles.
From the North via Southfield Road (or I-96):
Take Southfield Freeway (M-39) South 4.5 miles past I-96 and exit at Michigan avenue (Exit 6). Continue on the Southfield service drive (veer left) for .5 miles. At the first stop light, turn right onto Village Road (through the iron gates) and drive 3/4 miles.

Eagle Tavern parking lot is located directly behind the Tavern inside Greenfield Village. Use the Village Road entrance on the corner of Village Road and Eagle Lane. Stop at the security gate to check in, then drive around the back of the Village to Eagle Tavern.
