Greens Market 2012
November 23 - December 24, 2012
Remember the smell of Christmas trees when you were young? You know — spicy and sweet and exquisitely piney. What happened to that smell? Back then, most people used balsam fir trees. Not now. Well, we missed that smell. So we searched around and found a Nova Scotia tree grower who still raises balsam firs. And they’re just like we remembered: a rich, deep green with a lithe, willowy shape. And there’s that luscious smell, too. Balsam firs — start the tradition all over again.

Greens can only be purchased in person at The Henry Ford. To ensure optimum freshness, our hand-cut greens are available only at the Greens Market on Main St. in Greenfield Village during Holiday Nights (admission to Holiday Nights required).

Open during Holiday Nights in Greenfield Village.
